

Bill Garber is the Senior Vice President for Credit Policy and Analytics at Navy Federal Credit Union, where he has served for over 20 years. He leads a team responsible for managing credit risk and pricing strategies across a broad spectrum of lending products. His team also oversees loss forecasting, reserve modeling, data furnishing, and credit bureau dispute resolution. Over the course of his career at Navy Federal, Bill has also led operational risk and fair lending functions. Before joining Navy Federal, Bill spent eight years at Commerce Bank in St. Louis. He began his career in academia, teaching political science courses in the St. Louis area after completing graduate studies.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. He pursued graduate work in European Politics and International Economics at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Bologna, Italy, and Washington, D.C., and in Comparative Politics at Northwestern University. Outside of work, Bill enjoys traveling with his wife and children, hiking, biking, exploring new restaurants, and watching soccer.
